Let’s open with this gorgeous piece of footage by Live Music Guy – nice job!

Bit of a recap on the past week’s shows stars with the one at Maryhill Winery. These are videos and photos from Instagram and fans on the ground who have been in touch throughout this part of the tour. Many thanks to everyone for sharing individually and on your social accounts. Remember to tag your items #TFF2016 and we’ll be sure to find you and feature your dedication to the band and their music. Be sure to follow @tearsforfearsmusic on Instagram for live video and mini-montages from the shows.

So far several fans just feel the shows are too short. They want more than 90 minutes. But these set lists are the standard for Tears for Fears. When you adore them that much there is not such thing as “enough time” in their presence. It’s never enough…and why we as travel fans fight to get to as many shows as we can year after year. We feel you! It’s never long enough. We need a 3-day Tears for Fears concert with a show every night including solo work. Just sayin…keepin’ it real.

For those looking to meetup, let us know what shows you’re going to so we can get you in touch with other fans for group pictures and anything else that may come up! Safe Travels!

Second show of the tour, Tears for Fears Chateau Ste Michelle in Washington State. Eager fans could not wait for them to get on that stage. They went absolutely wild. There were some “live” people in that audience too. They were fiercely dedicated and our hats are off to all of you. Many thanks to all the fans who posted videos and pictures. Well, that was one heck of a good time this past weekend. Huge thanks to all the travel fans, online party peeps and loyal interactive loves of the band who watched online and tweeted about it. Another grand thanks to all who posted videos and pictures. Hope everyone was able to access the video and found the travel fan notes useful. We had a good time all around. You can see pre-show sound check and other clips via Tears for Fears Instagram.

One of many neat shares from the band over the weekend... tff5 tff6

Please enjoy these videos from Friday’s show at the gorgeous Silver Legacy Casino in Reno. Lots of funny and cute things happened between ROCS during this show. Toward the end of the (during Shout) Roland runs underneath Curt to the other side of the stage. It may not be a big deal to others but it was another fine example of how cute they are. Speaking of cute, the Reno front row crew on Shout were awesome! Listen to them having a blast during Shout. We’re giving them the superfan MVP for this show!

*Had planned to combine both the Reno and Las Vegas show material but Las Vegas’ was so over the top, despite being a standard 5-song festival set, it really needs its own post. Stay tuned for those clips and feel free to share the link to the blog post on your personal pages and with other fans. If you decide to use the photos from any of our Travel Fan publications be sure to give credit out of respect to those who have travelled and spent their hard earned cash to provide and share their experience with everyone.

Another Hit for Tears for Fears at an iHeart Festival (Sept 2016)

Wow, what a show!!

tff-iheart

One of the many things that stood out were the number of people at the event who tweeted and repeated “I had no idea they sang that song!” iHeart put a face to our legendary Rock gods for those who’ve merely been “listening” without devotion. People all over the world were watching online, listening via the iHeart app (sponsored by Tmobile and Twix) and the awestruck faces were priceless as people made the connection. Those folks were outnumbered by the numerous hardcore fans singing with passion and a sway in their step. The crowd was very mixed in age. Seemed to feature a myriad of generations from older teens to grown-ups getting into the groove. They may not have been standing for all of the stars that weekend but people stood up for Tears for Fears and they showed their respect for a few more minutes after the set was over. THAT was epic!

ROCS taking out ear tech…crowd is screaming and applauding…

There is a lot of material from that night including Instagram clips of fans recording the songs to mark the majestic fact that they witnessed it in person as well as YouTube clips that captured the evening. We were told the show will rebroadcast on CW next month. You’ll get to see all of the featured stars and of course experience the magic that is Tears for Fears. It was an excellent set! Huge salute to the fans and audience that stood up and honoured our favourite band of all time.

Be sure to say thanks to all these great contributors! We’ve connected with quite a few. More to come! We’re on standby for fans who have travel info questions. You can email us on Facebook. We’ve had quite a few inquiries about age requirements for shows and meeting up. It looks like most people are with their spouses and families so we won’t hassle everyone to gather for group photos. We’ll plan something when we’re not so rushed.

This post is dedicated to the Devine family and to TiffyCuppyCake.

The Devines took great photos which were posted to one of the numerous fan pages on Facebook. We are sharing one of Roland here with permission. TiffyCuppyCake made dolls (we’ve been waiting on these to surface for some time). All the TFF doll jokes Roland had from 2012 are now a reality. It’s a dream come true for us.

On her Instagram, TiffyCuppyCake writes…

SK was a kind soul and got a hold of her for us through a tag. Roland posted some awesome photos of the dolls. Stating, “Since NASA changed everyone’s star sign, @curtsmith and I have grown a lot closer.” Then posted photos of the dolls in the cutest of poses…the loving kiss we all adore.

He knew exactly who he was looking at – thank Susan for this!🙂

The love of this band has reached an intensity that is hard to ignore. It’s pretty deep. It’s so deep that several complained that the show was not long enough. People literally timed the show at around less than 90 minutes… one hour twenty or so? Hmm…and with a deep concern as to why it wasn’t longer.

Well they played all of the ELAHE selections and classics we expect and enjoy on tour. Only thing missing was the Arcade Fire Ready to Start cover…but that wasn’t on the set list last year either. So…all we can say is…those who are longing for more have a classic case of superfanitis. Many of us suffer from it. It’s dreadful. Even after going to shows for nearly two weeks in a row it’s not enough. There’s never enough of such a great band. This is what happens to you…you become addicted. One show is never enough. If it was we wouldn’t have formed this travel team. Big thanks to Susan for initiating a meetup!

Want to give a shout out to all of the fans that travelled to the shows this past weekend. Jen, KPC, Stephen, Sad, Dave, David, the list goes on. In particular, we had fans from Atlanta and New York that made the journey. Stephen documented his travel on Instagram. His primary reason for heading to Ontario was for the band and he ended up making a mini-holiday out of the trip. This post is dedicated to each of these great people who went the extra mile literally.

Well, Tears for Fears in Canada came and went so fast. These videos and photos were shared with us  and brought to our attention aligning  our joint efforts to highlight fans in Canada, many of whom repeated their experience from last year. Speaking of experiences, we had some complaints this time around. In fact, we’ve had some unhappy travellers in the past few shows and this is due to encounters with some in the audience who may not be so loyal or understand our dedication to the band. We can’t stress enough how important it is for us to have a fan section so we can stand up and sing along without people around us telling us to sit down. Throwing things at us, hitting us and other behaviour toward Tears for Fears fans because we won’t sit down is not acceptable. Snoozing through a show is also rude. If you were hurt during a show, email us. We have a lawyer, security and have no problems pressing charges quietly. Everything is in place to do so. A music holiday shouldn’t be a horror show and those that find these measures extreme should be mindful of karma. We’ve been following this band for years and have never seen or heard of people being assaulted until late 2014.

One of the reasons we have this team and try to keep in touch with everyone is make sure all who are making such an effort to take time out of their busy schedules actually get decent tickets and can sit together. Many travel fans (aka anyone that travels to see the band outside their home state or even 3 hours down the road) could be spending that time making money or being with their families but instead are spending a chunk of change to go see Tears for fears. However, the passion runs deep and people want to pay their respects to the band that made us cry so to speak. Many take their whole families, this is their summer holiday or in the case of the reschedule, an impromptu trip. Many went with their spouses and made the show a date night (i.e. famous musician Ted Yoder). We deserve the right to stand and enjoy a show without being heckled or abused. Due to the horrible behaviour we encountered last year, some sat this tour out and have no intention of travelling again unless we can be close to the band each and every time. No more sitting in balconies or random out of the way places. That’s over.

We don’t expect to meet the band nor do we beg for those things to happen (at least not all of us). The times that it has happened have been miraculous and we’re grateful for the many times we’ve experienced that blessing. Still, there are hundreds of us and they can’t meet us all. This is a concert, not a fan conference. But we do feel that fans who travel deserve some decent respect. That isn’t always happening. The only way to ensure that is with a fan club section at a show or an organised VIP of which isn’t “officially” available. So we work extra hard to literally “mine” tickets, sometimes paying  horrible prices that are 5x as much as market rate just to get everyone together.

We’ve managed to get decent seats at most shows so far …except Canada. We’ve never been able to really get great seats for everyone due to the fact that these are casino shows for the most part. We have no control over who gets on the front row. The casino often reserves those types of premium seats for their casino winners, etc. Or premium seats get “gifted” or rewarded to other people who are rarely hardcore fans. In the case of Friday’s show, two people in those seats fell asleep…and of course Good Man Curt noticed it…and called them out on it. We support his decision to do so.

Those seats could have gone to any one of the people who drove the long distance to see them or maybe another local fan who has waited years for these concerts. Not sure who those people were that slept. Maybe they were just really tired and didn’t feel well? Hope they are okay but in future we trust they’ll have the kindness to leave and hand over their tickets to someone behind them instead of sleeping through a band’s show. It’s just as bad as people who go to the front row and just sit there. Andye saw that happen at Duran Duran/Nile Rogers Chic too…it’s very disrespectful and a slap in the face to tons of fans who, again, went the extra mile.

Of all the good things that did happen, this tweet from Curt was one of them. He’s done it before (solo show Spring 2011). So Heaven be the faith that moves mountains allowing us to support this band in our merry travel fan way.

It’s official! As mentioned early yesterday, the band will tour with Hall and Oates beginning in May of this year. AA met Hal and Oates while working at CNN International and the concert was a true “experience.” So, keep that in mind, you’re going to have more than a good time! Below are the dates of the tour. Many of the venues are places Tears for Fears played in 2016. Others are new places such as Duluth GA’s Infinite Energy Arena (which is actually Atlanta but a suburb/adjacent city that is 45 mins from Atlanta’s city center – we’ll go into full detail on each city in the coming weeks). Pre-sale for those who subscribe to Tears for Fears’ newsletter go on sale Monday (check your inbox for code). Tickets go on sale starting Tuesday for various card holders.

Subcribers – Monday: please visit, www.tearsforfears.com, click on tour dates and pick the show you wish. If you’re having trouble with scrolling down, the Hall and Oates All Access membership page (yes, it’s just under $30) will allow you to buy pre-sale tickets. VIP is about $300- $400 per ticket and comes with a huge gift bag FILLED with stuff. You also get to sit in the first few rows just like we did with the band’s friends Duran Duran.

Tears for Fears Tulsa

We had our wonderful core travel fan team on the ground for this show, first one on the 2017 tour. You can hear several  of the group screaming with delight in one of the videos and it’s soooo nice. Again, this was the first show on this 29+ city visit and it was awesome! It’s so hard to write these recaps of shows as each year passes because the excitement grows beyond anything one can ever imagine. We are appreciative of the time and energy put into every concert by the band and the fans who travel alongside in support! Many thanks to Silver Kitty for snapping photos and providing visuals of the experience! Huge thanks to Bobby for driving! Carolyn and Becky Boom Boom for logistics and rentals! It’s all team work!!

Huge thanks to all of our fellow travellers who fly great distances to scream and shout their admiration throughout nearly every performance. We did a calculation and believe it or not, if you’re going to each show, paid the VIP ticket price, add airfare plus hotel fees …then you’re spending $20,000+ USD. That’s a lot of love to say the least! There are many that are doing 2-4 shows and THAT TOO is a A LOT! You are loved and deserve a fan conference!

Skipping ahead to the San Diego show while fellow fans finish sending in photos and posting. We haven’t a lot of commentary or detailed tales of how we got there and what hotel we stayed in. This tour has been different and long…very long. So, we’re just getting to the point…the music. This post is not much different. We’re sharing some snippets from the show that were shared by many.

MVP of the night is Yara for suffering through the glitches in the ticket system. The amount of work that goes into getting to a show can be unspeakable at times and so any delays at the finish line can send some people into a flat out meltdown. Kudos to all who kept their cool. Heaven knows we want to be at these shows. It’s not a pastime for us, it’s a pilgrimage so we work double hard to make sure as many of us that spend time chatting together online every single day as we have done since 2004 (and some of us before that) get into the venue. Sometimes Lady Carolyn goes as far as to just hand out tickets. This year she literally grabbed security and said help me find someone to give this ticket to…on the second row center. I mean…come one now. We take this very seriously and we could literally do this for a living and not burn out or tire…I’ve spent 34 years listening to this band and I’m not even 40 yet! This is our yearly reunion so for goodness sake, Ticketmaster, AXS, etc…solutions please to these ticket woes!

High Five to all the fellow fans who came out to San Diego and sang with passion to all the songs. Did anyone else notice the magic on Head over Heels? Was that not the remastered version come to life or what? Wow!!!!!! and that crowd…super awesome!

*Dedicated to Yara and that Sd Guy who shared it all! Thank you both!!

Roland’s Interview With Eric Alper

EricAlper (2)

Something about Canada. All of my experiences with Canada have been surreal and incredible. The people are awesome and it’s just a fantastic place to visit, particularly Toronto. It’s no surprise that this very warm, somewhat candid, authentic interview featuring Roland happened to be conducted by Eric Alper of the Eric Alper show…a Toronto based broadcast. Loved every minute of it! I hope one day I can explain why this interview means so much to many of us at this very moment. There is a lot going on right now (life events) that pertain to this particular part of the world and it’s steeped in Tears for Fears goodness and angelic coincidences.

The interview is amazing because it’s just so raw and candid…and in some parts Mr. Alper asks Roland questions that a person like one of us might ask out of nervousness and just pure shock that he’s sitting in front of us. There are times when we just completely fan out and it’s so clear that Mr. Alper fanned out in some parts of this and admits that he had some second thoughts about a few of his questions…isn’t that us after every encounter with this man? We’re always like, “Omg, did that really happen? Wait, was my hair tidy?”

But THE BEST PART is his explanation regarding the tops to tails of the band’s history. He does not mention The Ducks, History of Headaches but he starts with Graduate and goes in respectful detail about the band’s rise…and gently addresses parts that are rather painful for some of us to revisit because we know too much due to some interviews that were published back in the 90s. Those interviews have since been removed and some of us, as ridiculous as it may be, have sworn with our lives that we are NOT EVER going to bring up those years when R&C were separated. This was bone crushing for us and though in hindsight we see the benefit of it, those were some emotionally heart wrenching years. Still some of the band’s greatest songs came out of it. Eric touches on all of this eloquently and with a style that NO OTHER interviewer or archivist has mastered.

Have a listen and savour it… some of us were up as early as 5am on a tour day listening to this and just crying. If you already appreciate Tears for Fears to the nth degree you are going to marry their music after listening to this… it’s unreal and so well-done. Again, no one else has explained the history of this band so well.

We have a lot of great memories of travelling to Las Vegas and hanging out for a few days while we await the band to land and give us one of their epic musical nights. Tears for Fears concerts in Vegas are just EPIC! This one was thankfully indoors unlike some in the past (remember 2012’s heat – even the band asked for one during cooler weather LOL!). Thankfully each time the band has brought amazing, cool energy that creates a breeze of beautiful memories that have stayed with us. This was another one of those outstanding shows that you just can’t forget. There are so many wonderful posts about TFF Vegas 2017! Enjoy these videos from those that shared!

TFF RAH

Accommodations: The Kensington

If you were one of the fortunate ones able to snag a very difficult-to-obtain ticket for the 27 October show, you might as well go all out with a nice stay at The Kensington. This hotel is actually one of the preferred hotels of the Royal Albert Hall. Of course, if you’re local I’m sure you’re giving me the two finger salute.

Now, for those of us stateside who usually pay anywhere from $50-$275 a night for a standard to slightly upgraded room (with the exception of Vegas shows where we just pretend money is no object and go buck wild with cabanas for 3 days and parties), the Kensington is going to cost you around $400 US a night after tax. And…the room will be half the size of the swank abodes we’ve been spoiled with on tour. So, just be mentally ready for that. It’s gorgeous though. Take a look at the photos.

For those of us not going, myself included, this is like missing a Royal Wedding. The venue is unbelievable. It’s quite the answered prayer in many ways. There have been hundreds (I’m not exaggerating) of fans in the UK who have all but sold their insides begging and pleading Tears for Fears to have a show there (as if the band really has total control over that). And here it is…and damn if something funky didn’t happen the day the tickets went on sale to prevent us from going in addition to what was already a stab in the heart with short notice of ticket sales (remember when we said your 6 months of savings should also include $300 for a couple of Tears for Fears tickets? People think we’re trying to be funny – Nope, this is a prime example). Thankfully, Good Man Curt Smith – G-d love him – tweeted forward with a statement that once again proved his knowledge and sentiment to the cause of the fans. They know WE TRY hard to be at every show and that is an understatement.

Let me tell you right now… these “schemes” don’t hurt. Consider joining for future. You never know…

I have been that fan that literally flies home, goes to work and flies out that same evening JUST to see them one more time and in many cases, over and over again. It’s just THAT healing. But it’s even better when you’ve got a great venue with amazing seats and don’t have to contend with standing in queue 6-7 hours prior to the show for the dreaded Gen Am. THIS my dear fellow fans, is the show of shows to be at and I pray that something works out so that it happens again (maybe annually for a few years) so that we can all show up and show out in lovely frocks with our handkerchiefs in tow crying like a bride’s mother over these songs that have left us shook as f*ck.

Speaking of being shook, check out who is opening for the band… Freya Ridings. Check her out…powerful voice!

If by chance you just want to be in the area and hang around (there are people that do that), take British Airways or Delta. Use a car service to get you to and from London Heathrow and spoil yourself with a night at the Kensington. Then walk over to RAH and just be somewhere near without being disruptive. Just do it. Stay the weekend, leave on a Sunday. Walk around, be in the energy of historic London…just do it. If you have the resources to just get there…GO!

Are You Serious? What the hell are we gonna do?
RAH has guided tours, tea and much more. While you’re there, hire a car and go to Bath, England. Plan to stay a night there as well. Make the most of it!

BBC Radio 2

So, this is also happening and we’ve yet to have heard who the blessed Earls of Fortune are that got the tickets. But just “For Everyone’s I” as Curt would say, this is taking place. Bookmark it and follow it, you never know what you may see or find out on the day of the show. Gonna be pretty sweet for sure.

Meet and Greets
We get this question for every show. Unlike years past, we just don’t see these like we used to for a variety of reasons. It’s sort of an every man for himself, just ask and see what happens kind of thing. All we can say is for goodness sake, hold on to the no scream policy. Do not freak out around the band if you see them. Keep it cool. For some it’s hard because it’s literally like watching an angel manifest before you. Some may disagree but for those that “know” …you know it’s true.

Travel Fan Team on the Ground
For every show there is a loyal one who usually comes through and provides the coverage that we archive. We all pool our videos, whomever got the best one for each song is what goes online. Everyone uploads their selections to YouTube or sends us a file via email. We don’t know what will happen this time around because that ticket debacle just threw us off. We’re hoping for the best.

What to expect?
The set list we’ve been hearing and hopefully some surprises. We’re checking to see if Mr. Moyer will join because that means Working Hour gets played! Heck yes!!! We’re also hoping the “Broken” ending for HOH will be played as well. That’s one to make you faint…bring your smelling salts and look alive. We can only pray that I Love You But I’m Lost will be permitted to the public at both shows. We’ll see!

Cheers all, have a great time and stay in touch! We’ll be either within a mile of the venue being present and respectful or reachable by phone. Keep your passport card with you, keep the passport in the hotel. Trust us on that one!

*Moderator’s Thoughts
To underestimate the intuition of Curt Smith and Roland Orzabal is foolish. These two didn’t dive into the deep – they set up shop in that space and are truly ruling the world with some REAL TALK! These two know stuff…a lot of stuff. They are walking third eyes. They not only “know” stuff that’ll not only make you think but will slam your arse down on the curb or have you laid out on the sidewalk …wait for it…shook af!

#ILYBIL – is almost like a spiral down into the rabbit warren. The video speaks volumes without saying too much or even changing scenes. It’s all in that bar and a back room with insightful characters. It looks to touch on the dilemma of the Twin Flame concept. Also, you’ve got the cute mature couple who are enjoying their life in fashion, the JFashionista in the Tokyo Street capris and captivating spectacles casually minding her own business but you know she has all the answers as she’s seen it all before, the love interest to whom the main character clearly can’t commit because well…there’s a number of scenarios here. We don’t see any type of drug or addiction here…it looks like complications from ASD. Then there’s the lovely bartender who grows a third eye and we can only again suspect that it can be from a number of perception issues. Perception is one of the key themes of this video and it is brilliantly done. For me, it’s like looking at the answer to some serious situations occurring in my “waking life.” After speaking to so many other fans they too can resonate which speaks to the power of the band’s ability to do this on a massive level!

There is so much going on with only a whisper of the Good Man Smith and Sir Orzabal in a promotional frame. For me personally, the story hits home in regards to people so caught up in self-absorption they don’t even realise it or are inconsiderate to those their self-harm actually hurts. They may be medicating for legitimate purposes but they are killing everyone else emotionally as they attempt to live. It also speaks to the existence of people who seem to get in their own way – I actually met someone like that…wait for it…on the 5th of November long before this song was released. I have the proof. Not to mention that the dance the couple engage in has a level change that is unique to a particular partner dance from my culture – again, I’m just shook! This whole video and its messaging has eerily and yet comfortingly (probably not a word) hit home for me in a way that makes me feel we are all spiritually connected more than any of us could ever comprehend. It’s like looking at a scene from my life from the past few years.

Each time I look at it, I cry, it’s hard to watch because it just gets in your head and touches the core. Everyone I spoke to locally and online says it is so relatable it’s jarring…again we are all spiritually connected and can resonate with these scenes.

What does this video say to you, do for you, make you feel?! These are just two songs from the coming album…TWO…brace yourselves guys…these upcoming concerts following the release of the album are gonna look and FEEL VERY DIFFERENT. Be ready to set up shop in the deep…they have turned that BIG CHAIR into a chariot ride into some mind blowing surreal situations by which many of us shall be touched. Gonna be a powerful and emotional clap section at these shows…

Now, we can’t deny this video is still unavailable to many stateside and that is excruciating and it feels rude even if it isn’t or directly tied to negligence on anyone’s part. So, Gwen – a wonderful and generous fan who stays in touch and continues her TFF Travel Fan excursions this coming year during tour 2018 – has provided this link that allows stateside fans to view it with ease. She is this month’s Travel Fan MVP!

Again, discuss, cry, chat, shout and let it all out…this album is about to take us places. Embroidered handkerchiefs will be available…

TFF – Loved in Dublin

This post is dedicated to Tamara who flew all the way from Minnesota to Europe to follow the show. Tamara has been through a lot in her life. Like many, she has been able to find healing and energy in the music of Curt, Roland and team. Tamara you are appreciated and loved! Please remember that. What you did for fans, capturing the moments and experience then sharing it online was the real deal! You are awesome (and super pretty – look at that face)! We’re excited to have learned about Evan being in company as well.

From the eyes of our dear Gwen, she provided a lot of photos of the venue. Note how much larger this one is than the night before. It was soon just as packed.

Tamara got a view of the packed house.

Here’s their proximity to the stage.

Our dear lady Alison Moyet opened the show and we couldn’t be more pleased! We love her and wish she was a permanent member of the band. She will forever be a part of the Tears for Fears experience. Be sure to follow her on Twitter @alisonmoyet

How about this treasure from the Stone Forums. They claim they will be recording the entire show, every show until the tour ends! What a gift! You can barely hear Curt on EWTRTW because the crowd is singing so strongly it’s almost overpowering. Enjoy while it lasts because we don’t know if they’ll get flagged for posting this or not. *For the record, that’s not Andye singing Falling Down. She’s learned to pipe down at the concerts with all the singing. We don’t know this rogue singer but it was super cool to hear someone else enjoy it as much as we do!

It’s hard to discuss these shows right now because they are so fresh and the excitement is intense. A few of us are simply speechless and trying come down from cloud 9. It takes a while. Returning to earth after a Tears for Fears show is like…well, imagine being somewhere between heaven space and heaven. It’s mindblowing! An Irish Times writer seems to have gotten her bearings and quickly published this piece about the show. It is one of our favourites thus far.

Read the article in full here: https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/music/tears-for-fears-review-sad-bangers-from-a-brilliantly-gloomy-band-1.3778833

“Pure perfection tonight. So happy they included ‘Falling Down’ and ‘Woman in chains’ tonight. Ro’s voice sounds incredible, as good as ever & you could tell he was enjoying himself again tonight, pulling faces and huge smiles for everyone. 2 down, 10 to go…” – Gwen, TFF Travel Fan about the Dublin show

If you are a die-hard soldier of sound you know we had some scares at the start of the year. Like a hot cup of coffee filled to the brim, we’ve been walking slowly and carefully hoping the cup didn’t run over and burn us all in some form or fashion. We were really scared out of our wits with so much legalese and uncertainty with the show reschedule and journalists on the outside picking up bits and pieces of our online conversations and then writing about what they “think” is going on with the band and fans. We’re so glad to have moved on from that to be present in the presence of Tears for Fears – their concerts wash away all pains, all negative emotion. It’s like being lifted to a whole other realm and completely healed. May the Universe bless the band and all of us on the road and in the air this year!

Cheers!

*Dedicated to Marcio Campos in Brasil! Thank you for connecting us with additional fans for this show!

Wow, Liverpool! How exciting and historic given the Beatles’ beginnings here! We spoke to Jamie before this show and got permission to post some photos (one above). We’re excited to have some pictures from their point of view. It’ll be nice to add to the archives.

Also got this great photo from Claire Hartshorn Photography! Thank you, Claire!

Mr. L came through on the guitar picks and yes we asked that they be put into the online store so we can stock up. The last time we had such exquisite ones was 2012 during Brit Week.

*Some items will not be visible as they are linked to Twitter accounts. We’ll be sure to post photos vs. links to accounts in future in case fans decide to go private going forward. You can ask to be friends which will allow you to see all the great pictures.
